“Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.” -Albert Einstein
Stumbled across this video and presentation today…Giving up meat can help impact your health, the environment, starving children, defenseless animals, the economy…I can go on and on! Think about it…Do you want to be eating something that is deathly ill, pumped with steroids and antibiotics and covered in it’s own feces?? You might want to think twice about eating meat…Just a few more reasons to hop on the Vegetarian train with me 🙂
Also, the majority of the brightest intellectuals of our time were vegetarians/vegan. Charles Darwin, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Edison , Albert Einstein, Plato, Socrates, Aristotle, Mahatma Gandhi, Pythagoras, Abraham Lincoln, William Blake, Benjamin Franklin, Mark Twain, Upton Sinclair, Thoreau, Tolstoy, and Vincent Van Gogh are a few that come to mind! So I guess great minds really do think alike 🙂
According to Dr T. Colin Campbell, nutritional researcher at Cornell University and director of the largest epidemiological study in history, “The vast majority of all cancers, cardiovascular diseases, and other forms of degenerative illness can be prevented simply by adopting a plant-based diet.” (a strict vegetarian diet with no animal by-products).
For all you men out there: Did you know that ancient Gladiators were known to be vegetarians? So you can be a vegetarian and look like this! Also, practically all of the strongest animals on the planet eat a vegetarian diet (gorillas, elephants, rhinos, oxen, etc)!

THINK VEGAN 🙂
This is great. My sister went vegan and is always trying to get me to do the same.. ended up finding a free starter kit with recipes/why you should etc. from PETA’s website. I’d recommend anyone else thinking about it to do order it.. for free!
That’s awesome Stal! I didn’t realize they had a free starter kit! If you’re on the fence about going Vegan, you should watch Forks Over Knives..it’s what helped make my take that last little jump from vegetarian to vegan! The transition isn’t as hard as you would think! Love and Miss you Stal!
