I love this! The power of colors in produce is amazing 🙂
I’ve been eating this way for about a year now, and I LOVE how much better I feel! I have way more energy since I eliminated most of the “white stuff” (flour, sugar, etc) and ate more multi-hued fruits and veggies. Now if only we could get the USDA to update the food pyramid to reflect what you have pictured above!
This is the wave of the future! The gov’t won’t change the food pyramid like they should, but the word is getting out. Eating these foods will keep you healthy and ward off disease better than a lot of drugs they are pushing.
nice article. We should not forget yellow vegetables (e.g. Lemon, Corn, plantains, pineapple, starfruit, yellow winter and summer squash)
